I need a choreographer with some experience in synchronized/lyrical dance (or the enthusiasm to fake it) and a willingness to try something new and fun, to work with me on a youtube project. You will be working with a large number of dancers (but no more than 30) in a pretty tight space, and for no pay, so. This is a non-profit project to get some names out there on the internet, maybe jumpstart a career or two, and hopefully make some people smile. Please be passionate about what you do, and willing to meet with me within the next couple of days to discuss general blocking, etc. Thanks much

You! I know it's the middle of the school year, and many of you have things going on in your life, but if you can take a couple hours a week out of your schedule, come dance for me! I'm planning a Youtube project akin to an Improv everywhere ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jwMj3PJDxuo ) flash mob, and need tons of dancers of all skill levels to come help out. I can't offer you anything other than the chance of stardom the likes of Chocolate Rain (46 million views) David After Dentist (48 million views) and Evolution of dance 135 million views (that's over a third of the US population)
The Event:
Will be Feb: 14 at 9:00pm at the Salt Lake International Airport (don't worry, I've cleared it with airport officials) so we have a couple of weeks to rehearse. Your mission is to mob in the baggage claim area of the airport, acting like regular people, and then on queue bursting into this amazing synchronized event, and then when the music dies and the dance ends, returning to normal. Like nothing ever happened. This will be unlike anything Utah has ever seen before, and I think it'll be a real treat for the world to watch and get a laugh out of. The dance itself will be about a minute long, synchronized, and very energetic. I can't offer to pay anyone, but I'll treat everyone to a smoothie on the night of the dance. Expect to meet for rehearsals once a week until feb 14th, and maybe once or twice more if necessary.
This whole thing is very laid back, meant to be a lot of fun to make as well as to watch, so don't stress.
